This case is good overall. I use it traveling throughout Iraq in Blackhawks and fixed wing aircraft all the time. Not a scratch on my Ipod. Practically dust proof. Dust can get in thru the speaker holes, so still use a screen protector. My only concern is the cover for the camera is often a bit of a discomfort to get rid of.
